MIMA Family for Life

I've lived in Palm Bay for the past seven years; I relocated from my home town of Queens New York. I absolutely love the resort living type life style that under normal circumstances (NY Wet Cold Weather) only could be achieved if I went to Fire Island or the Hamptons in the summer months.

My biggest challenge when moving to Florida was finding a family doctor that myself and family were comfortable with until I decided to make the move to MIMA’s medical facilities. Let me explain…

At first I had a really hard time locating a family doctor that could satisfy all our needs. Every time we would enter a physician office, we were either greeted by an angry receptionist that was mad at the world or saw a doctor that didn’t want to spend the time addressing our health needs; it almost seemed as if we were considered a number, not a patient. After bouncing from one clinic to another, fed up, and to the point were we were ready to write doctors off, I decided to talk to my peers about the problems I was facing to see if I was the only one dealing with these problems. Lo and behold I was not alone; we all shared the same frustrations. A really close friend made a recommendation to try a MIMA doctor (Dr Lynn Chacko). I can honestly say she is the best thing that every happened to our family! She was so polite, showed concern, and spent time getting to know our family's medical background. My kids are normally afraid of doctors due to previous negative experiences but they absolutely adore her. Her nurse, Karen, & MA’s, Suzette and Norma Jean, were so pleasant! It was actually one of the best experiences I ever had!

I believe MIMA has gained a patient, or should I say family, for life! Thanks again Dr Chacko & staff.

I wanted to write and thank you for the wonderful care you and your staff has given me over the last 3 months. Everyone has been very helpful in answering my questions, especially your secretary Laurie and your nurse Jennifer.

As you know I had an LAVH (Laproscopically Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy). I was apprehensive to say the least about having surgery and very anxious about how I would feel afterwards. My husband and I both appreciate the time you took at my initial appointment to discuss our options and what the surgery involved. My husband was impressed with your bedside manner and willingness to listen to our concerns and address them. I especially appreciate your willingness to discuss the numerous questions I emailed to you and with me in person. This discussion helped diminish my anxiety and allowed me to go into surgery feeling much more confident that I had made the right decision. The photographs you shared with me after the surgery were especially helpful in that they gave me solid proof that my husband and I had made the correct decision in proceeding with the LAVH.

It has only been 6 weeks since my surgery but I feel so much better. I am pleased with how my body has healed and am enjoying my newfound freedom in all aspects of my life that this surgery has given me. My only regret is that I didn’t come see you earlier. I had been complaining of my symptoms for 3 years but was being told it was normal. I should have listened to my instincts that were telling what I was experiencing wasn’t normal and booked an appointment with you for a second opinion.

In closing, I wanted to thank you for all of your guidance in helping me to make the best decision for my situation. You discussed with my husband and I our options and gave us the information we needed to make an informed decision. Your willingness to answer my many questions and calm my fears helped to make a difficult decision much easier. I have to say that for my first surgery and hospital experience I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. I look forward to seeing you in the future and will recommend you to any of my friends that are in need of your services.

My story is a simple one. It involves a Pediatrician, Dr. Aryanna Lee. If you are a parent or an aunt/uncle or a grandparent then you know what it means to have a young family member in your life who means the WORLD to you. When you have a child who is suffering in any way, it makes you feel awful. When you know that a child is well taken care of, comfortable, healthy and happy, it is the best feeling ever!

For almost two years we had been telling our old Pediatrician about stomach pains that my daughter suffers with. The pains were always dismissed or written off for one reason or another. We decided to switch my 10 year old daughter to a new Pediatrician recently because we needed answers.

The appointment with Dr. Aryanna Lee was scheduled with ease and when we went for our first appointment we were greeted with friendly and helpful staff members. Everyone was wonderful. When the doctor came into the exam room my daughter was ready to tell her all about her stomach pains. All I can say is that it took Dr. Aryanna Lee only a few minutes of asking the right questions and “knowing her stuff” before she could tell me and my daughter what the problem was and how we were going to make it better. I cannot thank her enough!

I live in West Melbourne. The drive to Viera to visit our new Pediatrician is something we will look forward to for years to come as my children grow up under the care of the highly skilled and caring professionals at MIMA. Thank you so very much.

MIMA excels in patient care

I am a registered nurse who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I was recommended to Dr. Scheinbart by another friend. I must admit, Dr Scheinbart and his staff have exceeded my expectations and have renewed my faith in the medical profession! They are knowledgeable, caring and truly want to make sure I am a survivor. Dr. Scheinbart is current on treatment options and is always willing to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. I don't think I have ever seen an organizaion with such consistency in their patient care. From the registration desk to making my follow-up appointments the MIMA team stands out with excellence in patient care that is rare and refreshing.

A cancer diagnosis is daunting. Knowing I have Dr. Scheinbart and his staff in my corner gives me confidence and hope that I am going to beat this. My husband and I fondly refer to Dr. Scheinbart as our 'cancer fighter.' I would be remiss if I didn't metion Jennifer, Dr. Scheinbart's RN. She is responsive, caring and professional.
