Dr. Trout is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He earned his MD degree at Loyola University in Illinois and completed his Family Practice residency at the University of Tennessee, St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Trout is a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians. In 2010 Dr. Trout achieved recognition for the delivery of Quality Diabetes Care by NCQA (the National Committee for Quality Assurance).
Dr. Trout has 3 grown children; a son and two daughters all attending college in Florida.
