Jacqueline A Salazar, DNP, MSN, ARNP
Pediatric Endocrinology

Jacqueline Salazar has been an advanced registered nurse practitioner since 1990 and practicing pediatric endocrinology at MIMA since 2004. She also has been a pediatric endocrinology provider for Florida’s Children’s Medical Services since 2004. In addition to her private office practice, Dr. Salazar is involved as an investigator for numerous diabetes clinical trials. As part of the Brevard Healthcare Forum Pediatric Obesity Taskforce, she continues to work on community outreach programs to educate children and families on healthy weight management and prevention of obesity.

Dr. Salazar recently completed her doctoral education at the University of Florida in April of 2010 enjoying the honor of being the first doctoral prepared nurse practitioner in Brevard County. She received her Master’s in Science Degree from the University of North Carolina and her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Florida.

Dr. Salazar’s personal interests include being a soccer mom, running and spending time with her family.
